Looking at the speed and efficiency with which local police cases such as this get solved, it is my strong conviction that election of local town and District Councils and Mayors /Chief Executives, will bring about a major social and economic development and management of Ghana for the people.
When people are involved, we don't need some Agency to spend $150 million to let us vote! Corruption occurs best when people spend money and nobody even knows who to hold accountable.
Imagine a place like this collecting taxes to build the school or public toilet of sewage system, or water system, and one man pockets the money! What do you think would happen?
Think about it!
We need to amend the constitution of Ghana and those Lawyers who think they know best should work on submitting a petition to Parliament for the Constitution to be amended and have elections and not appointment of local and district chief executives.
