E/R: Fetish Priest hijacks corpse at Afiafe

A fetish priest at Afiafi in the Eastern region has hijacked a corpse and is demanding a ransom of GHC12, 000 from his family.

It is unclear why Kwaku Koranteng is keeping the remains of Henry Kwame Nsaba at his shrine.

Starr News’ Eastern regional correspondent Kojo Ansah reports that the priest is demanding the money to perform some rituals before the body, which is reportedly decaying, could be buried.

The Eastern regional Police command has intervened in the matter and has arrested the priest.
