Montreal Impact confirm signing of James Bissue

Canada-based Major League Soccer side Montreal Impact announced on Thursday that Ghanaian midfielder James Bissue has joined them.

The 23-year-old has signed a three-year contract but details of the deal were not disclosed as per MLS policy.

Bissue was training with Ghanaian champions Asante Kotoko before leaving to sign the deal with the Montreal-based side.

He first played for Eleven Wise before signing for Israel side Hapoel Be’er Shava in the 2009/2010 season.

Bissue was later loaned to Maccabi Umm al-Fahm in the Israeli second division for the 2011/2012 season.

He is a former Ghana U20 international.
