Ghana is well known for out strong midfield but I must say that if the cosh use this starting 11 our midfield would be no much for many of the teams. Whiles some people itch for the coach to drop Essien, we will be beaten by all the teams in the group if Essien do not play. There is no play maker in midfield. K. Asamoah should be paired with Essien in the middle and Muntari should play K. Asamoah current position. There is no play maker in this current style the coach is playing and I smell defeat.

I am tired of reading these ignorant posts. It is obvious the majority of you are not soccer fans and never will be. The game is still developing here in the US and we have made significant progress over the last 20 years.

We need to get behind the team and wish them much success. Klinsmann has done an outstanding job so far and has changed the culture of the team, much to the pleasure of many of the players.

If you are going to criticize that is fine, but at least know what the heck you are talking about and make an educated argument!

Hopefully he's trying to get Landon Donovan to come to Brazil as a later surprise. We looked better in the last game, but we could still definitely use him right now. He's hot right now as well. He also has created way more chances than anyone else on the squad, and about the same goals as everyone else, and we could really use that. Guys like Bedoya, Davis, Zusi, Diskerud, and Wondo are good players, but they are still a long way away from Donovan in terms of skill, experience, and current form.

Don't even know where to begin tearing apart your uninformed post. First off both games vs. Ghana were very close games, could of went either way. Made one fatal error in the last game not taking out Gyan from behind. Yes, the sport of baseball. Where theres a total of 5 minutes of action, the game drags on for 3+ plus hours. Where players sit in the dugout chewing sunflower seeds and bubble gum, where they have to cut to commercial when a new pitcher enters the game even after warming up in the bullpen and throwing 30 pitches.

While I am a very proud American, I also spend a great deal of time in Europe. If you doubt the Athletic ability of an Elite Soccer Player, perhaps you have never tried to play the Sport. Soccer is not my Sport, I only played through Age-Group level, but I have great respect for these men. Once you are a little more educated and enlightened, perhaps you will learn to enjoy things you don't initially understand.
