Business Finance Workshop for Startups

2nd Business Finance Workshop for Startups/SME's Scheduled for March 20th at UPSA-GCEEI

The Ghana Center for Entrepreneurship, Employment and Innovation is organizing a one-day workshop to introduce Ghanaian SME's, Startups, Entrepreneurs, Graduates, Youth to modules on Business Financing, How To Be Entrepreneurs, Combining Technology and Business, Driving Sales and Increasing Revenue and exposing such firms to Funding options that exist in Ghana and across the sub region in helping to grow startups and SME's in Ghana. Utlimately, this will be a roadshow on the various campuses.

The GCEEI Business Finance Workshop on How To Become An Entrepreneur will be A Four Hour Program starting at 9:00am at the University of Professional Studies, Legon on the 20th of March 2014 with a large representation from Ghana's Youth Oriented financing schemes with partners such as the Ghana Angel Investors Network, Slice Biz(a crowdfunding firm/ winners of $10,000 Apps4Africa prize), Access Bank, Ghana StartupCup (Business Development Investment firm), Dream Hub, Trust Consult Ghana, Clak Impressions(Google's number 1 online marketing firm in Africa), Popout Ghana-Social Media Experts, Horseman Shoes, The African Network of Entrepreneurs, Matrix Leadership Institute, African Leadership Agenda, among others.

Heads of these institutions and more will take participants of this forum through training on topics such as Idea to Market, Starting your Dream Business, Rethinking Startup Financing, Combining Technology and Business, Understanding Global Business Development Competitions Opportunities in Agribusiness and others to enable Ghanaian Startups scale up to meet global demands while creating products that solve basic needs.
