US$ 9,000 bonus for Local Black Stars

The Local Black Stars will earn US$ 9,000 each if they qualify to the quarter-finals of the 2014 African Nations Championship.

According to reports, the amount includes the US$ 3,000 winning bonus agreed for the Group stage.

Maxwell Konadu and troops need a point against Ethiopia on Tuesday evening to make it to the last eight of the tournament.

Ghana beat Congo 1-0 in their Group C opener last Monday and settled for a 1-1 draw with Libya on Friday.

At the last edition in Sudan three years ago, Ghana failed to progress from the Group stage.
