It is easier for an elephant to go through the opening of a ballot box than for NPP to elect a non-Akan their presidential candidate. This ganguantan mountain for the NPP to climb. For all the domination of NDC by Ewes, it can be said two other presidents from Fanti and Gonja have been produced by NAD. What about the NPP? There lies the challenge.

NDC is enviously a National Party representing all nooks and cranies of mother Ghana; even if, as it were for cheap political equalisation, why for 20 years and over of our new Democratic dispensation, the 8 year rule of the Vice President under Kuffour was not elected as his successor!!

Ghanaian electorates are better educated than most of you who would want to score cheap political point!!! If Ewes dominate the NDC and so what?? Why was the Ewes not only throwing their own as the NPP is doing!!! If no one hails from the Ashanti-Akyem enclave, no flagbearer!!!

Ghanaians know this painful truth and will always react by dropping your selection as too tribal parochailism, man!! People of Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah's Ghana know and will always decide who should rule this country for them!!! Not until the NPP choose outside their domain for presidency, it will always be a big joke!!!

Work hard and make the NPP more appealing to many outside from its strong holds.That is what you need not this types of comic relief.

That's why I shall devote my next series of articles to unraveling the source of their angst, envy and hatred for Ewes. We are not Jews in NAZI Germany and should not tolerate this crass prejudice and nonsense any longer!

Btw, Kofi Portuphy is an Adangme. I know him personally from our days in Legon. He might've still have pictures of me when we went on the Great Let the Blow Flow Demo. And I know a cousin of his, Gabby, here in London, a good pal of mine. Many Adas who grew up at home can speak Ewe but since his mother is a Ga and he was born and bred in Accra, he can't speak Ewe. I doubt if he speaks Adangbe too.
