No matter what the ndc and their agent provocateurs say the fact remains the country can never move forward if the majority are marginalized and excluded from truly being represented as is the the case today. after killing mills these criminals have used ideology , propaganda , election trickery and engineering leading up to rigging of the vote with the help of the heavily politicized national security . anyone who dares cry foul is persecuted by the police and lately the judiciary . we now have a govt lopsided in favor of minorities such as the ayigbe and muslim northerners , this act alone proves none of them ever believed in ghana talk less of equal opportunity for all citizens irrespective of their background. we have no choice but to recognize these facts and do what is necessary to stop the process of colonization by these misfits . the divisions among us are so great its now evident to all its only a matter when this will lead to conflict and war. they think because they control the judiciary , nation security and other institutions of oppression that they are safe but i will remind them that's what the communists in Romania , Saddam in Iraq , Gaddafi in Libya and even the British imperialists thought. the Lord is on our side and we shall soon have our freedom . the economy is going backwards , even their own people dont believe in prosperity so are hurriedly pillaging the coffers , corruption of such magnitude that they dont even bother investigating or trying to rectify these crimes in short a mess which is skydiving into a disastrous catastrophe just as Sodom and Gomorrah were until fire erased them . pepeni at the drop of a hat runs to the most ridiculous of meetings just so he may not be caught in the country when things explode . they persecute the npp but dont realise its a different kind of leader that is born in times of war and those leaders a waiting patiently for the clarion call , long live the republic of Akan . to all those who wish and pray for the de Akanization of Ghana i say may you all be burned alive

Nobody will go for a review and the elections can be held within the shortest possible time. The EC made arrangements for a second round so I don't see the problem.

Lawyer Opuku, the questions you posed in the last paragraph of your article was answered in a brilliant article on this forum by someone I cannot remember the name. The guy wrote an excellent academic article and gave reasons and legal authorities why there will be no re-run. In fact he also concluded that the SC will not disturb the status quo.

I also attempted to answer these questions in my article entitled, "Whose justice will the Justices' justice be, NDC or NPP?", which appeared on Ghanaweb on August 3, 2013. For the reasons given in the earlier article I read on Ghanaweb and the reasons I gave in my above mentioned article, the SC will not order a re-run. The decision will be any of the two remaining options. You can have a look at my article and share your views on the reasons I gave with reference to the questions you posed with a response comment. Did some Presiding Members fail to sign their pink sheets? Yes but did other people like the Polling Agents sign the results? Yes! The ruling could be that this is not sufficient to annul the results and the polling agents should rather be sanctioned. Was there over voting? Only on instance as provided by the petitioners and this is not enough to annul the votes of 5 million people. Was there no biometric verification? This contentious and I cannot pretend that I understood the arguments from both sides. This alone cannot be sufficient grounds to annul an election result

A re-run will be waste of money--we can't pay nurses, doctors, teachers, so why borrow money for elections--just to satisfy the ego of Akuffo Addo.

Akuffo Addo and all the presidential candidates voluntarily decided to run for a elections. It is not a business investment. So the country does not owe any of the losing candidates--so why should we borrow money to run a new election--when Mahama or Akuffo Addo or anyone else will give us similar poor results.

A re-run doesn't make sense. It is not right use of "borrowed" funds giving the economic situation in the country. Plus a proper re-run will take at least 2 years to prepare for.

It makes sense to keep mahama there. Its better we use our energy and resources to help him succeed.

Running for elections is a voluntary undertaking--and taxpayers should not be burdened with additional borrowing.

A person has a constitutional right by virtue of him being a human being which is biological, a member of society and with a dignity as a human person. People vote everyday anywhere in the world not because there is always a constitution. Thus the right to universal Adult Suffrage, is rather a natural given right, rather than constitutional.

If you take just two of the petitiioners' pleadings - over-voting, alias 'foreign materials' or the most irregularly printed duplicate, triplicate and quadruplicate pink sheets that were used for the 'vodoo twenty-seven zero' mathematics, serious infractions happened in Election 2012.

Did they affet the results? The answer is almost certainly YES. The only question that remains now is whether the Supreme Court will be bold enough to arrive at that conclusion, as Sir Arku Korsah in his time did according to the dictates of the Law?

2. Will the re-run be for Presidential candidates only or for both presidential and parliamentary? Should it be for presidential only will the remaining 6 candidates be allowed to participate? Should be for both presidential and parliamentary on what basis would the SC nullify the results of my MP whose results have not been challenged? Should I not be right to take the SC to the International Criminal Court? Re-run is not part of the equation because it will cause too many problems for the country.
