Ghanaians can still remember when sir John told npp followers to dress in white and go to church for thanksgiving even when the final results were not complete just to make a case that they had been robbed. In fact, the SC is really wasting time that is why these crooks think they still stand a chance, where on earth have you seen SC removing democratically elected president and putting in a 70 years old drug baron, greedy and arrogant man as president? You have been found out and God will punish you for wasting Ghanaian tax-payers money. Npp is now for dogs, especially with people like sir john in the helm of affairs of the party. Kwesi Pratt is the most dangerous Journalist Ghana had ever have, he had the gut to recommend his fellow journalists to be executed by PNDC. Pratt even recommended Baako to be killed by the regime, thank God Baako was instead touchered violently and severely but his life was spared. This is what Kwesi Pratt can do. Now Pratt is a secret agent to NDC and US Embassy in Ghana. May God forgive Pratt and spare him the untold evils that will come upon him and his generations. Unfortunately, he has shown a propensity to interject his personal opinions, derived mostly from tribal loyalties and or his political party associations while using the church as cover to spew his slanted and ungodly crap. He should learn from examples set by Jesus Christ and stop pretending he has some inner path or direct links to the kind of wisdom bestowed unto King Solomon. Where does he get this insight to what will and or will not be acceptable to Ghanaians?

I agree that we cannot have 100% acceptance of the verdict, but we can score a respectable high mark which will give us the peace we so much want after the verdict.

At this stage, all we need to do is drum home to the people the need keep the peace no matter who wins or loses.
And in this enterprise I believe Rev has a bige role to play. First as Chairman of the Peace Council, he needs to call members of the Council to a meeting by this week-end and fashion out an outreach program to educate the masses. They can fall on gov't for financial support to use all media to get the peace message through. As a member of the Christian Council he should quickly initiate a program where between now and a few weeks oafter the announcement of the verdict, ALL Churches would shield their planned summons and make special appeal to Christians NOT to get into violence of any kind before and after the verdict. Perhaps, Churches could threaten to expel members who would be caught in any violent act, and be refused membership of any church in the country.

Rev could further, get the National Chief Imam and other Muslim leaders to join in the crusade.

Aside, Rev and his groups mentioned above the Security Agencies should beef up their presence allover the country, especially the identified flashpoints. Ghanians can contain a short period of a 'police state' for the sake of peace.

The media should also refrain from publishing and discussing controversial controversial matters likely to breach peace. I call the NMC not to hesitate to severely punish (even if it includes temporarily withdrawing the licenses and closing down) media houses that publishes inflammatory materials.

wE NEED TO DO EVERYTHING THAT WOULD DELIVER PEACE TO US BEFORE AND AFTER THIS VERDICT.

The Peace Council was immense throughout the process, intervening, negotiating and cajoling all factions to steer away from violence and resort to a more peaceful negotiation through the judicial system.Ghana is the better for it. That my friend is courage from the NPC, not cowardice.

We expect the Clergy not to inflame our passions and skepticism but encourage us to hope for the best for the Nation.

We all need to pray and hope that our best intentions even if not adequate will be spared the wrath of God.

We must learn to expect the best from one another even if we disagree on issues. And we should peacefully and honestly yield to the other who wins the contest for the chance to govern.

It is only with mutual trust and respect that we could retain enough faith in even our Political opponents that they would not victimize us any further than a defeat we suffer in Elections but would do their due diligence to govern fairly for all of us to have equal opportunity to follow our dreams. Such calls for eschewing tribalism, restricting debates to issues and not hating opponents for taking us to task to prove our worth, and true unselfish, non-egoistic patriotism.

God bless us all!!

Democracy is not the key insults, disobedience, disrespect and lawlessness. But rather a state where everybody has the right to express his view, mind, advice,encouragement towards national development.

But Ghanaians always attack, treat and spew insults to anybody who speaks out on any issues. This is a very bad behavior. Ghanaians must refrain from this attitude.

Ghanaians will accept who so ever the Supreme Court decide to be the winner.
President is a service not a job and every Ghanaian can be the president. The President has nothing to do with Political party instead he or she stand for every Ghanaian.
Rev Asante has a job to only those who belief his lies. Rev Asante should shutup and stop misleading Ghanaians. Ghanaians are not animals as he thinks, we shall accept Nana Atta or John Mahama.
