We must seriously defend our elders and leaders of state because of the ewe-anlo attitude; we would need to now find out more about these people from Volta Region, who joined the country only in 19th century: Before then, the major tribal groupings were at peace with themselves, each with their own polities and chieftaincies and struggling over land and resources before the Portuguese, and later other Europeans arrived in the Gold Coast in the late 15th century. The devastation, destruction, exploitation, slavery, battles upon battles between tribal nations and collectively against the Europeans from the early 16th to 19th century was shocking in present day Ghana. The people became exhausted over all these things and gradually built bridges across the tribal nations, especially after the defeat of the Asantes in (1874) by the British in the Sagrenti war. The people of Ghana reconciled and resolved to accommodate each other as we all aspire to be one. It was this ideation that formed the basis for agitation for independence right from the period of the Aborigines Rights Protection Society. All these events occurred before Ewes came from Nigerian Ketu to Benin’s Notsie, before Agorkoli’s tyranny drove them to flee to present day Volta Region in (1878)…late 19th century. At this time so much water had passed under the bridge. For example, Kwamena Asameni had seized the Osu castle; the Dutch had had their fill in the exploitation of gold in Ghana and left to discover South Africa in 1652…I am writing this as a true historian, who has studied Ghana, lectured by a proper Anlo man. I reiterate herein that the evil combination of slave trade, imperialism and colonialism engendered strife and restlessness in Gold Coast, which affected us grievously and exhausted us immeasurably and so we became tolerant of EWE – ANLOS cannot be allowed to set Ghana back
Clearly most EWE-ANLOGA SCHOLARS do not know the history of Ghana. You all think the geographical area of Ghana, formerly Gold Coast just came to existence in 1850 and suddenly became a nation state in 1957 under Nkrumah. Ghana did not begin with the arrival of Anlos and Ewes of the No. 9 Region! No way. The Internet has a lot of information on tribal kingdoms that always existed in Ghana or Gold Coast, long before the Ewe and Anlo people of Volta Region fled from the tyranny of Agorkoli in Notsie, walking backwards to their present location as captured in Hogbetsotso between 1850 and 1870 only.

For example Ewe'Anlos can feed on this solid historic piece below:

"The Akan people are believed to have migrated to their current location from Canaan and Nubia then eastern Sahara Desert and central Sahel into the forested region in West Africa between the 10th and 12th centuries. Many Akans tell their history as it started in the forested region of West Africa as this is where the ethnogenesis of the Akan as we know them today happened. In the 1850s when ewes came to present day Ghana from Ketu in Benin, the Europeans had already emptied Ghana of its natural and human resources, and the Dutchtrekkers were gone… Even the most able, strongest, swiftest, tallest, most handsome and beautiful were all lost to the Slave trade, the most inhuman form of bestial exploitation that will never be surpassed throughout history, including Ancient history! And so the generations that bore such pain has bequeathed to its posterity grace, tolerance, compassion and respect for each other, especially elders in society...which is clearly lacking in many an ewe-anlo of Ghana. If Ewe scholars can read about history of other tribal kingdoms and real Ghana history, they will understand things, have greater tolerance and eschew the bitterness and separatist tendencies that even make all of them have same political opinion and can support their Woyome, even though he wont give them a penny of his loot. Ewe and Anloga scholars must read the history of other tribal kingdoms and have respect for elders and people in our society!

Yes there were and did people vote whether identification from the machine, yes we voted without using it. We voted from overseas as we are ghanaians and where did our votes go, were they counted, if so how made of us voted and for who.
NPP and Nana and co went to Supreme Court because the elections were not run well and for that reason John Mahama cant call himself our President.
On the part of Bawumia, the pink sheets were given to him by EC if they are correct, EC gave them wrong ones. Its the duty of NDC and EC has to prove they didnt give them to him.
Finally, auditors are not auditing only what the supreme court has but all what electoral has for reference.

The matter is accentuated further by the fact that Bawumia wasn’t at any of the polling stations nor is he using first-hand evidence but entries on the pink sheets, a distant second-hand or third-hand information. No direct evidence from Bawumia? Doubts galore!!

Another major stab on the evidence is the interrogation of Bawumia that has revealed that the allegations of over-voting and no signatures on the pink sheets are mere administrative errors. The results were announced at the various polling stations after the counting of ballots. It wasn’t what was recorded on the pink sheets that was declared. So, why the fixation with the entries on the pink sheets?

If at a given polling station A there was over-voting, voting without biometric verification and no signature by the presiding officer, wouldn't station A appear in all three categories, and therefore THREE separate exhibits from station A? Is this not a simple A Level Venn Diagram problem?

Tsatsu in his circumloution has been forced to even make Mahama an accessory to this crime. "Yes, the first respondent forced the second respondent to break the law." Are you saying that just because the votes at this station were over by one vote, every genuine vote cast at the polling sation should be annulled? "Yes, becacuse votes at some polling stations in my oonstituency were annulled for the same reason. I did not make the law, the second respondendt did; the law is the law!" And he scored similar own goals on biometric verification.

The NPP case is "Was there over-voting" Yes. Were some voters turned away on the day because they could not be verified biometrically? Yes. So if at other polling stations some voters voted without biometric verification their votes should be annulled? Yes. Were there any polling stations that the presiding officers did not sign the pink sheets? Yes. Did that break the law? The answer again is Yes. At the end of the day, even if the evidence is whittled down to 5000 per infraction, (which I doubt), irregularities occured in Election 2012. Did these affect the results of the election? The answer again is Yes. The whole world is watching and there will be gasps around the world if the NPP case collapses.

Dr Bawumia only swore to tell the truth in court, and so far that is what he has been doing IN court. So where is the case for perjury?

Dr Bokor, remember all your treatises about the idiotic Kpegah case? Mother Ghana's educated children are really letting her down.

Is it another wrong horse that he is mounting?

What is wrong with this recounting of the pink sheet and the outcomes are these pertinent questions:

1. Why did the NDC not count these pink sheets before the registrar at the time of delivery?

2.How can the NPP and the whole Ghanaians accept the outcome, if it comes out that the pink sheets fell short of the required number?

3. Where did the mistake originate;
Was it after the delivery or before?

4. And finally: Who would be speaking the truth here? Would it be the NPP or the NDC?

In all these, the NDC has no case. NDC would be guilty, BECAUSE THEY SIGNED A BLANK CHEQUE!

Lets consider this analogy:

You go to the bank to withdraw some money. After the cashier at the counter has given the money to you, you pocketed it without counting; Then later, you return to the bank to complain that the money given to you at the counter was less than the required amount.

Who would be at fault here?

Would it be the cashier at the counter or the recipient?

In a likewise manner, the recipient would be at fault, so is the NDC.

The NDC has no case!

The recount of the pink sheet has no effect!

It is an exercise in futility!

Justice Atuguba and the other supreme Court Judges are just fulfilling and complying with a legal requirement, but this request is dead on arrival, it has no effect!
