Ex.Co suspends referee Thaud for four matches

The Executive Committee of the Ghana Football Association has suspended referee Beatrice Thaud and upheld the decision of the Match Review Panel not to take any Luka Kofi Asare.

Case Wa All Stars v Tema Youth - Week 5

After a careful study of the recommendations of the Match Review Panel, the Executive Committee approved of the report on the above match as follows;

The Assistant Referee I, Beatrice Thaud allowed a bad goal against Wa All Stars in the 75th minutes of the match.

The Assistant Referee conceded her error of allowing a bad goal by Tema Youth’s Player number 7 against Wa All Stars at the hearing and explained that she failed to position herself properly at the time of the incident.

Consequently the panel’s recommendation for Assistant Referee I, Beatrice Thaud to be suspended for four (4) matches is upheld.

The suspension must take effect from week 9 of the Glo Premier League.

For the avoidance of doubt, please note that the weeks are in strict compliance with the GLO Premier League matches and not the lunar calendar.

Case R.T.U. v Aduana Stars - Week 3

After a careful study of the recommendations of the Match Review Panel, the Executive Committee approved of the report on the above match as follows;

The recommendation by the panel after watching the video of the match not to take any adverse action against Assistant Referee I, Luka Kofi Asare is upheld because the Match Commissioner’s claims that he wrongly flagged on several occasions during the match could not be justified.
