Political appointment is not a democracy but the real roots of failure in almost all undeveloped countries, poor countries and failed countries. Political Appointment is the deceptive component or practice of the so-called democracy, where people are merely nominated into top societal positions with greatly assigned powers without being voted for by society or real stakeholders. For these reasons, some influential people like Totobi Kwakye, Oliver Barker-Vormawor Baker and others make noises to get somewhere in society by chasing political appointments for their selfish gains rather than to solve problems while others invest in political campaigns to get appointments in order to scoop back their investment in a thousand-fold or million-fold (dangerous investments that risk society). Appointees are the ones responsible for societal progress, not the president, so why can we vote for these people but appoint them to steal and destroy society by corruption while we blame the president? To me this is the most foolish things I can see in society. Parliament must amend the constitution and pass laws to ensure that there is no more political appointment but rather all top public officials are elected by votes, if not from the entire public, then from the stakeholders of the various entities, unless our MP want to prove to me that have no sense or IQ to reason with me or analyze my observation with their intelligence, since the 32 years of democracy have yielded no progress.

I do not think the Parliament of Ghana and the MPs have lost their IQ or ability to reason, unless they continue to believe in the practice political appointments which I have to be the real source of failure by; corruption, incompetence, abuse, thefts, bribery, mismanagement, poverty and hardship in Ghana, Africa and almost all poor nations. John Mahama wants to return again as president so he can appoint his corrupt-minded people to steal more after he appointed someone to use his own brother in UK to steal from Ghanaians by inflating airbus price in buying a risky aircrafts at higher than normal price but cannot be charged or linked to the scandal because he used political appointment to cover up his face or shield himself from the deal. Similar, Nana Addo did the same, so you cannot blame him for corruption despite the economy is struggling. Political appointments if what corrupt leaders use in covering up their corruption and conspiracies and I can prove or justify with enough evidence as being the most dangerous practice that makes democracy partially deceptive.

Jean Mensah cannot change the results recorded at the polling station and even if mistakes or deliberate errors occur you can always go back to the primary data; pinksheets (which every party has) to rectify it. The only reform the NDC need in this elections is to learn how to compile results and save everyone the stress. It doesn't just make sense to say your votes are stolen when you don't know how much you should get based on your own calculation. You can't win such a case even in a 'kangaroo' court or at the chief palace let alone the Supreme Court. Any wise person would know the NDC was engaging in deception at the SC because its impossible for Asiedu Nketia with over 40 yrs experience on elections to fail in collating their results. Fortunately, Asiedu later admitted secretly that their own results showed they loss!
