If armed robbers could mount road blocks and rob passengers of their belongings and valuables , this is a reflection of the failure of the IGP and the entire police apparatus.

If armed robbers could mount road blocks and rob passengers of their belongings and valuables , this is a reflection of the failure of the IGP and the entire police apparatus.
Ghanaians are not safe any where .
The Ghana armed forces has been idle for years and it is time the government used to army to patrol out highways to flush out these armed robbers since the police is not up to the ask . These armed robbers use weapons that the police don’t have and moreover some police personnel are in cahoots with these criminals that defeats the purpose of using the police to fight high way robbery. Our police just mount road blocks to take bribes but no to fight crime or to enforce traffic laws. Ghanaians need our soldiers to take over some of these roles from the police. Why should Ghanaians fear to travel because of armed robbery? They are not safe in their homes and on the roads. This is ridiculous and a failure of the IGP and his administration.
