This doesn't make sense. It's not true to say that parents need a review of freeSHS to support. Noone prevents PTAs from doing voluntary philanthropic projects. Have you donated food items to your child's SHS and they refused to take it? The only problem NDC has is because freeSHS isn't their policy. They did same when president Kuffour wanted to bring NHIS. They later promised when they win they will make it on term premium which they couldn't even attempt doing. When crude oil was discovered under president Kuffour, NDC said it was "April fool" discovery. They never believe in transformation but tokenism. NDC wants the people ignorant and needy so that they can always go and buy their votes cheap because they can't compete in terms of policy when the people become enlightened.

This whole Business Of this FREE SHS by the NPP government was not properly planned and was just used for political purposes. Just for Votes. We can see the problems involved.

But to say some parents must pay is not good policy ask yourself how much At all is putting into the free shs policy check from 2016 and now how much is spent on the policy and how much did the country Ghana got in revenue from oil loans and other sources and compare to how much was spend for government Offices how much did the Office of the president from 2016 till date received and compare to the free shs. Please we must cut government expenditures for other important government policy # Say No to paying of Shs if you want pay your child school fees please go and get your child a private school

If your policy is to have some pay and others not to pay it's no more FSHS but a scholarship scheme. Who then is to determine who should pay and who should receive scholarship. Experience of scholarship management has shown that in the end it's the same rich people who end up getting them to the detriment of the poor. In the end we will come back to square one. Many honest public and private officials cannot be considered poor but most can't afford fees for their children. In the end they discriminate among which of their children should go and which not go to school especially against the girl child. Be very careful NDC
