  While I have no beef in this palaver, I have to admit that some of the EC chair's positions can be controversial. This latest proposal makes no sense knowing it is coming from the EC chair herself. It wouldn't be controversial if it were coming from party advocates. You can't just snap major changes out of thin air an upcoming major elections without prior trials. It is crazy, to say the least. The woman is either not that smart or secretly a serious sympathizer of select parties.

  Why is that most of the changes that Jean Mensa, Bossman Asare, Samuel Tettey led EC propose are changes that will rather have negative effect on the credibility of the election and potentially on the peace of Ghana? They want to eliminate the use of indelible ink and bring the closing time to 3 pm, when some polling stations get their materials after 12 pm and voting starts at 1 pm. God save Ghana.

  NDC is always ready to cause confusion. They can never think of anything good but are always ready to oppose everything. What is wrong in closing polls at 3 pm? If some areas don't get their voting materials in time, their closing time can go beyond 3pm as has been the practice ever since. There is no need to draw arms because of this. Haruna, a lawmaker you can also suggest that, I think 3pm is a bit early, let's make it 3.30pm or 4pm, then we all move on. As for the indelible ink, I am surprised the EC used it during the NPP parliamentary primaries. If that is the case then EC should bring it during the general election. We don't have to kill ourselves because of indelible ink. Haruna, this does not call for any trouble.

That is if the infrastructures are well in place. You may be NPP so I wonder what people like you would have done if NDC were in power for such an announcement to be made.

  Leaders in this country sometimes behave as if they're wiser than any body. Instead of all of you sitting down to find the reason as to why the EC want pills to be closed by that 3pm look at them. Instead of advising people to go to the pools early and finding ways to make voting smooth and stress free so that counting of ballots will be done early, your heart threatening the EC. Backwards thinkers....

Hope you will explain it to Ghanaians, l will suggest the position of e, c should cancelled, each region should have an independent system for an election not one an show,. Nuclear weapons have three top military players before the it's fired. Any serious political issues will start with the EC. Thanks
