37% of Ghana's Farmland Recolonized

It is good to see that you have finally posted an article on Ghanaweb, thanks for this info. The information you've posted here will hopefully reach a wider audience.

I wrote a brief article about this problem and its associated one (grabbing water resources) last year (www.ghanaweb.com/GhanaHomePage/features/artikel.php?ID=164288). This is a major problem facing a number of African countries as well.

As I was reading through the article I kept thinking what a suitable solution to the problem will be, it really comes down to activism. Shady big companies and shady government dealers prefer to work "in the dark" without the public knowing what they are up to. By exposing them they are forced to explain themselves, since governments really are supposed to be accountable to the people. It is up to the people to be pro-active, to keep governments on their toes. It is good to see that you have finally posted an article on Ghanaweb, thanks for this info.
