Disclosure and ET First Contact - A Ghanaian Perspective

This article is a response to an article by "Anonymous" entitled "Disclosure and First Contact" which appeared on Ghanaweb on October 31st 2009. I find it exciting that the topic of extraterrestrials and UFOs has appeared on a Ghanaian website for Ghanaians to discuss.

In this article, I intend to write about this controversial topic which many people may write off as nonsense or irrelevant but which others, perhaps a minority, might appreciate. I mean for this article to provoke thought. It is no surprise that the author of the above mentioned article chose to be anonymous. I choose not to be anonymous so I shall say it up front that attacking my credibility or person for writing this article will have no effect on me, other than give me an idea of the kind of person attacking me. Anyone who wants to see that I am a sensible and level-headed individual can read my previous articles on this website.

This is a highly radioactive subject which must be written in an accessible way to avoid further confusion. The question I hope to raise in the minds of individuals is: are extraterrestrials and UFOs real and if so, why is such information relevant to us in today's world?

ETS - EVIDENCE FROM AFRICAN TRADITIONS

Many people have now heard about the Dogon people of Mali, who were made famous because of their highly detailed and advance knowledge of the Sirius star system, which two French anthropologists (Drs Marcel Griaule and Germaine Dieterlen) first made accessible to the world. The Sirius star system is found in the constellation Canis Major. Sirius is known as 'The Dog Star' and also as 'The Brightest Star in the Sky'. Interactions between these anthropologists and the Dogon started in the 1930's and went on for about 25 years.

In short the Dogon elders know very detailed information about the orbits of the Sirius star system and about its stars. At the time these elders were interviewed, the scientific community was aware of the stars Sirius A and Sirius B but Sirius C had not yet been discovered. It was only by 1995 that scientific information Sirius C started to come out. The information the Dogon priests/elders gave the anthropologists in the 1930's was highly detailed and contained information about Sirius C, which at the time was not known by scientists. The intriguing part of this story is that the Dogon priests insist that their information was given to them by extraterrestrials from the star system Sirius who the Dogon refer to as 'The Nommo'. It is difficult to ignore the Dogon accounts because they are so accurate. What scientists and some others do not like is the fact that the Dogon say they got their information from ETs who have actually visited members of their tribe.

The Dogon are not the only Africans who have traditions relating to extraterrestrials that go way back. Elders in parts of Eastern as well as Southern Africa also have accounts of beings from the stars who intervened in the affairs of our planet in times past. Some of these elders are in the Rift valley area and others are on the banks of the Zambezi. There are perhaps many other elders who have retained traditions of African knowledge relating to ancient accounts of ETs.

A GHANAIAN WRITES ABOUT AFRICAN CONNECTIONS TO ETS

I found a website written by a "young Ghanaian" who claims that not only the Dogon have relations with the star system Sirius but so do other West African people such as the Akan, the Ewe and others. For those who are interested, the website is: www.theakan.com

BIBLICAL AND OTHER EVIDENCE OF ETS

Here is a question which may get me in trouble with Christians but which may delight the thinking person: could it be that some of the beings referred to in the Christian bible are actually references to extraterrestrials? Perhaps in the Christian bible are Semitic records of their ancient ET contact.

A famous quote in the Christian bible that some have pointed to is in Genesis chapter 6 verses 1-8: "the sons of God saw that the daughters of men were beautiful, and they married any of them they chose. Then the Lord said, "My Spirit will not contend with man forever, for he is mortal; his days will be a hundred and twenty years." The Nephilim were on the earth in those days—and also afterward—when the sons of God went to the daughters of men and had children by them. They were the heroes of old, men of renown."

In my mind, this is a clear reference to a kind of mating occurring between regular Earth humans and "the sons of God". So, who are these "sons of God", or are some people shouting 'blasphemy' as they read this? Who are the 'Nephilim'? I will provide an answer for those who are stuck. The 'Nephilim' are a cross-breed between regular Earth humans and 'the sons of God'. They are the 'demi-gods'. They are individuals who have both ET and regular Earth human heritage. An example of a Nephilim would be a Sumerian character called Gilgamesh, who was a "hero of old, a man of renown" - a Nephilim.

This brings us to another interesting evidential aspect on ETs: accounts from Sumerian lore. The Armenian author Zecharia Sitchen has become well known for his translations portions of the Sumerian tablets dealing with extraterrestrial involvement on planet Earth. These Sumerian tablets are clay tablets on which were written histories and accounts of the Sumerian people of 4000BC. The Sumerians openly talked about interactions their culture had with extraterrestrials. In Sitchen's books are fantastic accounts of the creation of human beings by the extraterrestrial 'gods' Enki, Ningishzida and Ninmah/Ninharsag. The claim is that these extraterrestrial 'gods' created present humanity in their own image, through genetic experimentation (see the book: "The Lost Book of Enki: Memoirs and Prophecies of an Extraterrestrial god").

In his book "Phaedrus", Plato cites Socrates: "At Naukratis in Egypt it is said that there dwelt one of the old gods, the same one in whose name the bird called Ibis is sacred. The god's name, though, was Theuth. He it was who first ordained the numbers and their harmonies, then the art of measurement and the star-lore, also board and dice games, as well as the letters. The god Theuth gave writing to the Pharaoh of those times...".

Obviously, this 'god' being referred to as "Theuth" is the same as the Egyptian deity Tehuti or Thoth. Once again, we have here the idea of a 'god' actually being an extraterrestrial.

GOVERNMENTS, SCIENTISTS AND SOCIETIES IN CONTACT WITH ETS

Recently (November 26th 2009) the UK telegraph newspaper had an article entitled "Aliens 'already exist on Earth', Bulgarian scientists claim". This article was in reference to an announcement made this year by Bulgarian government scientists that they have been working with extraterrestrials for some time now. The deputy director of the Space Research institute of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, Dr. Lachezar Filipov said "Aliens are currently all around us, and are watching us all the time. They are not hostile towards us, rather, they want to help us but we have not grown enough in order to establish direct contact with them."

If anyone thinks that this is a hoax, they can go onto the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences web page and read the credentials and CV of Dr. Filipov. He is a real person.

It has long been suspected (some will say 'known') that the major world governments and their secret society and secret scientific networks have been in contact with ETs and may have even more advanced technologies than what is known in the world today. If Bulgaria has come out to make this revelation, it is likely that countries like the US, the UK and Russia, China and many others also have contact with ETs at the highest levels of government. In the past, Japan and India both came close to making disclosures but at the last minute 'something' occurred to stop these governments from doing so.

Otherwise there have been countless sightings of ET crafts (known as UFOs) not only in the US and the UK but actually in every continent of the world, including Africa. There are many individual accounts of contacts with ETs and even photos of individuals standing by ETs and their spacecraft. The hypnotic mainstream media of the world prefer to cover stories about death and war and to show Africa as destitute and needy rather than cover interesting stories such as this one. Despite this, there are sometimes stories that are very difficult to ignore, even by the mainstream media. Just recently (December 10th 2009) newspapers all over Europe reported a UFO almost one mile across which hovered over Moscow's Red Square during the day and at night. There are many, many other examples of sightings, from Argentina to Mexico, from Haiti to Iran, from Turkey to Tibet to South Africa and so on.

WHAT DOES CONVENTIONAL SCIENCE HAVE TO SAY?

The scientific argument that if ETs exist, they cannot travel from their respective star systems to this Solar System smacks of human arrogance. Earth Science has already gone through a number of major changes in just the last few hundred years. Medieval science which existed in China, India and the Middle East was followed by the Renaissance period in Europe, then the enlightenment. Newtonian mechanics has been superseded by Quantum mechanics which itself has gone through such major revisions and modifications in only the last decade. Yet most of our current Earth science only examines a small portion of perceivable reality. Conventional Earth science as a whole is often still either sceptical of or finds it difficult explaining paranormal phenomena known to be part of human power since time immemorial. Missing from contemporary Earth science is the notion of expanding the concept of 'physicality' to encompass different vibrational levels of reality. ET science that has mastered the means of phasing the physical dimension with the ethereal dimensions can employ dimensional travel by moving through a higher vibrational sphere of existence and hence arrive here in this Solar system faster than the speed of light takes to travel through the dimension of physical reality.

In other words, imagine Earth technology as giving us the ability to walk from place to place. Some Earth scientist say, 'you can't travel from one Solar system to another because it takes too long for even light to travel there'. That is like saying you can't travel from Ghana to China because it will take forever to walk there. The ET scientist may smile and say, "well, we have this Mach 12 jet which actually FLIES through the atmosphere and can reach China in only a few hours or less".

HOLLYWOOD AND ET MOVIES

Some people say that Hollywood as a whole is being directed to 'desensitize' the population of the world by presenting the idea of extraterrestrial contact with humans as a 'not so scary' thought. For this reason we have seen loads of Hollywood movies coming out showing humans interacting with ETs. A recent, well done series on America's ABC channel is entitled 'V', which is a remake of an earlier series from the '80s. This new series 'V' is a good one because it brings up the issues of how humanity may react if we were faced with over 20 one mile-long ET spacecraft hovering over the major cities of the world and simultaneously making contact with Earth's peoples.

DR STEVEN GREER AND THE DISCLOSURE PROJECT

This body of information is about the most convincing I have come across yet, about the existence of ETs, of UFOs and the government cover-ups that hope to keep this information secret. The disclosure project website (www.disclosureproject.org) makes the following statement: "[We are] a nonprofit research project working to fully disclose the facts about UFOs, extraterrestrial intelligence, and classified advanced energy and propulsion systems. We have over 400 government, military, and intelligence community witnesses [from around the world] testifying to their direct, personal, first hand experience with UFOs, ETs, ET technology, and the cover-up that keeps this information secret."

In his book, "Disclosure: Military and Government Witnesses Reveal the Greatest Secrets in Modern History", Dr. Greer reveals not only the testimonial accounts of scientists and high ranking military individuals with 'above top secret' clearance but he also goes into some of the technologies that exist today which could change the world but are being hoarded by interest groups. Greer's books have some really serious information which could interest not only the everyday Ghanaian but also people in government.

CONCLUSION

I believe that extraterrestrials are real and their relevance to us today is to realize our relationship with these beings from other star systems. The time has come when humans may once again be faced with meeting the 'gods' of old. Contemporary evidence of the existence of ETs obtained from individual as well as government contacts and sightings of ET craft ties in with ancient evidence and accounts of these beings from religious and esoteric traditions the world over. Yet governments of many countries who are purported to be in contact with ETs seem to choose not to reveal this contact because they think the human population may not yet be ready for such disclosure. It is hence up to individuals who care to know about these things to educate themselves on these issues. We should not worship these beings and neither should we be antagonistic to them because we are all children of The Creator.
