Fight For Ghana's Oil: Exxon vs China

The arrogance of the Vice-President of Kosmos to say that it is a done deal. The Ghana Government should OK the agreement before it becomes a done deal. Kosmos, Exxon-Mobil do not have our basic interests at heart.

Exxon-Mobil made about $45 billion in profits the last time and did they use any of the whopping profit to develop any community they operate in. The answer is a big no.

We should wise up in Ghana and kick out Exxon-Mobil. They are not in the business of assisting any developing country develop. They are in the business of creating more dividends for shareholders and giving their CEOs multi-million dollar bonuses. How does that help the Western Region and the average Ghanaian?

So Exxon-Mobil is willing to pay $4 billion. Ask yourselves how many jobs Exxon-mobil would directly create. We would be lucky if even 100 jobs would be created for Ghanaians.

The Exxon-Mobil is a bad deal and should be thrown out by President Mills!
