Govt studying Exxon-Kosmos deal

Ghana should seek a buyer who is eager to extract the oil as soon as possible not a company who will buy the shares and sit on it to create an artificial oil shortages to drive crude oil prices up. Remember if crude oil prices goes up it will be as if Ghana is giving back the money back to whoever bought it and sitting on it to drive prices up.

Ghana not only needs a buyer, they need experties to extract the oil as quickly as possible to save Ghana from its oil problems. Ghana needs to extract the oil more than the money.

Ghana should attach a time limit to extract the oil if the company do not, they stand to lose some percentage of the value of the oil field.

Yes, Ghana needs oil to help Ghana to solve its oil problems besides the paper money. Any country can make it's own money so is not as valuable as extracting the oil itself where else Ghana could buy crude oil at reasonable prices.
