Agreement already?

Ghana National Petroleum Corp; is legally doing the right thing. The problem is, GNPC's involvement in these negotiations, re-arranges the figures of the sale, by climbing up but into the pockets of their officials.
We can refresh our memory with the Ghanacem issue. The same pattern will be followed in the petroleum case.
Our officials are corruption infested, with the intention of answering their responsibilities but are often rewarded with stuffed envelopes with Dollars! These gifts are translated to higher prices at the pumps; what do we make of it?
Our habit of corruption is affecting the Gov't ability to do genuine business, and its failure to get involved means a loss of revenue. Which is which then; the chiken or the egg!
