Accra bourse picks up in quiet trading

Accra, Oct. 30, GNA - The Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE) All Share Index made a slight gain in another quiet trading on Monday with share prices of four equities moving up.

The GSE All-Share Index was 0.11 points better at 4,962.84 points from 4,962.73 points, but change for the year remained at 4.06 per cent. ECOBANK Ghana was one cedi better at 12,175 cedis, Enterprise Insurance Company (EIC) gained 87 cedis at 8,600 cedis, Fan Milk Limited (FML) inched up by one cedi at 16,555 cedis and Total Petroleum Ghana Limited rose by one cedi at 54,011 cedis.

Total shares traded were lower at 141,500 from Friday's close of 166,700 shares but market capitalisation was better at 111,524.32 billion cedis from 111,521.91 billion cedis.
