A woman who invested GH¢200,000 into a gold dealership firm, Menzgold has revealed that she is losing her sight gradually and unless she gets urgent medical attention, risks going blind, MyNewsGh.com reports.

She also disclosed that her decade-old marriage has come to a sad end following her inability to retrieve the money and the accrued interest, and she is going blind too without medical help.

“I am currently searching for money to attend to my medical needs but I am not getting anyone to support me. I am literally going blind and had to be dragged here by someone”, she lamented on Accra-based Joy News monitored by MyNewsGh.com.

According to the woman who was seen weeping on live Television and pleading with President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to intervene, she has nowhere to turn to in order to retrieve the cash if the government decides to leave Menzgold customers to their fate and she may go totally blind.

She revealed that the husband who is currently not in the country has, as a result, asked her to look for another man and marry because he is unhappy with her following her decision to invest such an amount with the company.

“My husband has asked me to go and marry another man because he is no longer happy with me. Akufo-Addo must intervene and retrieve our monies for us because it is becoming a serious problem for us. I am currently searching for money to attend to my medical needs but I am not getting anyone to support me. I am literally going blind and had to be dragged here by someone” she wept hysterically.

The troubled Menzgold customer indicated that the troubles of the company appeared to have complicated her health situation and that but for God’s protection, she would have been long buried.

“I invested GH¢200,000 and this has struck me with sickness. If not for God’s protection, I would have been buried long ago. I really do not know what I am doing now, it is just by the grace of God I am still surviving. Nana Akufo-Addo should come to our aid because what my children and I will feed on has now become a major challenge.” She cried.
