We will reposition Ghana as the business hub of Africa – GIPC CEO

The Ghana Investment Promotions Centre is focused on repositioning Ghana as the most attractive place to do business in Africa to make it the entry point into West Africa. CEO of the company, Yoofi Grant made this statement at an Investment Opportunities Forum in Accra.

Mr Grant explained that Ghana is currently not the most attractive place to do business in Africa.

“Our role is to spearhead partnership with government to the economic growth of Ghana … marketing Ghana as the premier investment destination, the best place to do business in Ghana”, he said, adding that they will be targeting strategic investors to help achieve this.

He encouraged Ghanaians to take advantage of the several business opportunities in the country.

The Investment Opportunities Forum, which is part of the month-long Citi Business Festival was a one day conversation on the state of Ghana’s readiness to attract the needed investment for economic transformation.
