President Akufo-Addo President Akufo-Addo

President Akufo-Addo has given indications that special policies and programs would be implemented within the next four years to better the life of farmers in the country especially women in agriculture.

“District Assemblies and traditional authorities will be assigned specific roles in agriculture development and we will adopt policies specifically targeted at supporting women in Agriculture” Nana Addo added.

The president was speaking at the 2017 edition of the New Years School which is aimed at raising and discussing national issues that shape government policies. This year’s theme is on Agricultural development and ICT.
