Use Ghana Post GPS to locate missing Kelni GVG contract - A Plus tells Ursula Owusu

Controversial musician and member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Kwame A Plus is advising Minister of Communication, Ursula Owusu-Ekuful to make use of the Ghana Post GPS app to locate the allegedly missing contract documents of the Kelni GVG deal.

A Plus, born Kwame Obeng Asare has already been sued by Mrs Ursula Owusu-Ekuful over defamatory comments the former passed in the wake of the exposé by IMANI Africa on the contract, says the only way the minister can locate the contract is to to use the Ghana Post GPS application.

In the post, A Plus also alleged that the Ghana Post GPS application itself is a ripoff, as the utility it claims to give is available on SnooCode and Asaase GPS.

He wrote on his Facebook page:

“Ah but is this not the same ministry that spent 2.5 million dollars on a location app when Assase GPS and SnooCODE are on Google play for free? Urslar Owusu should turn on her Ghana post GPS she’ll locate the documents.”

He alleged that the President asked “us” to be citizens not spectators because the President cannot trust his team to protect the public purse.

“H.E Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo promised to protect the public purse. He knew what some of his people are capable of doing, that is why he asked us to be citizens and not mere spectators. Your Excellency, we are watching your back gidigidigidi. God bless you my President!!!” APLUS wrote.

He shared a background to the missing Kelni GVG contract documents with his readers thus:

“President of Think Tank, IMANI Africa, Franklin Cudjoe has alleged that government cannot locate documents covering the $178 million Kelni GVG contract.

According to Mr. Cudjoe, in a response to a request for documents covering the controversial deal, the Communications Ministry said “Please we have been ‘searching’ for the documents since we received your letter dated May 31, 2018. When we find them, we will send them to you.”
