The Hypocrisy of the President

The hypocrisy and uncharitable mien of the President know no bounds. They can be compared to the hypocrisy of the Pharisees in the Holy Bible. The President, who is a devotee of Prophet Joshua Temitope of the Synagogue Church of All Nations, has other devotees under him. He is touted as a Christian of the first order and the Asomdwehene (King of Peace) but everything he does points to the opposite. He wears a juju ring instead of his wedding ring.

But as Peter Rabbit Kwesi Pratt said, this our President is something oo. Is a President who fears his wife capable of administering the affairs of this country? It is this fear that has made him abdicate his powers as President to gorilla-faced Koko Anyidoho. The question is this: If the President does not fear his wife as is being alleged, why has he not brought his “son” to stay with him in his home? The answer is simple. The wife, Naadu Mills says she doesn’t want the son to stay with them and poor Mills can do nothing about it. A President who is afraid of evil powers so much so that he has to wear a juju ring to counteract the efficacy of some blisters he received after shaking hands with one particular Chief from the Western Region is the last person we should call a Christian.

You see, this man, our President who is afraid to call his Ministers, particularly the Deputies to order went to Canada to lambast African countries for their failure to severe their umbilical cords from their colonial masters. And yet this President chooses to spend his Annual Vacation in the United States. The situation is similar to the late I. K. Acheampong’s Yentua Policy in which he said Ghana would not pay off its debts to her creditors because they were tainted with corruption. Yet, he went back to those nations, cup in hand to beg for loans and other necessities of life. Is this President not something? But are you surprised the President made such comments? No, you shouldn’t, for he had a hidden agenda when he uttered those words. He is at his wits end as to how he could cope with the role such powers are playing in international politics to ensure that there is transparency in African Affairs. He recalled the role the French played to resolve the impasse in the political quagmire in Cote d’Ivoire, and the ouster of Muammar Ghadhafi from the Libyan Presidency. The President is aware and I believe Prophet Joshua Temitope has told him that come December, 2012, no Jupiter would prevent the crossing of the Rubicon. In effect, the NDC would be booted out of office. Yes that is the truth. The President and his men have put in motion Option B which would make use of the police and the military to coerce the masses into subjugation and make the NDC ride roughshod over the wishes of Ghanaians. But if such a system were to be invoked, it would make it possible for foreign powers to step in by ensuring that the winner of the Presidential Election was sworn in according to the laws of this country.

But I am at a loss as to why the President should come out with such an unguarded statement, bearing in mind the Charter of the African Union does not subscribe to the principle of non interference in the internal affairs of member States as enshrined in the Charter of the Organization of African Union. The Security Council can also, with majority support including those of its Permanent Members, authorize the use of “legitimate force” to resolve a matter in a member state.. And yet, such a statement could come from a person who is touted by his devotees as the most brilliant academician in the country. I am also surprised that such a statement could come from a man who is erroneously awarded a First Class Degree by his Deputy Minister of Information, who by all standards should have every minute information about the President. Why our President should bury his head in his “dzi wo fie asem” mantra is something which defies every understanding. The President by his utterance is preparing the minds of Ghanaians against future interference in the political affairs of this country, particularly in 2012 so that if the party loses the elections, they will use buga buga and under hand tactics to cling on to power. But such plan appears remote in present day Ghana.

Mills is the President. But when the people decide, Mills and the NDC cannot act otherwise. Ghanaians are indeed vociferous and unanimous in their verdict that the Mills Government has deceived Ghanaians and turned them into second rated citizens in the land of their birth. This Government has failed and is on its way out. Nothing can save them.

My candid advice to President John Evans Fiifi Atta Mills is to start preparing his handing-over notes, for surely, history will favour it with a good verdict. Infact, the government is shamelessly incompetent. How do we treat such an incompetent “something”? Do we bury it alive? No, we are not going to do that. We shall allow then free and easy passage amongst our ranks and file just as the people of Agogo are doing to the Fulani Herdsmen.

The President is a failure. All his cabinet Ministers are incompetent. They are all something oo. The Verdict? – Sack them by giving Vision 2012 a Chance.
