It was a difficult moment for most of these actors on Saturday, as they struggled to hold back tears at the one-week anniversary of their beloved friend and colleague, Bernard Nyarko.

Vivian Jill, Salinko, Sunsum, who were mostly seen in the same movies with the late actor, were captured by GhanaWeb’s lenses, together with a few others, shedding uncontrollable tears at the family house of the late man of God.

The celebrities had gone to pay their respects and mourn as the family observed the one-week celebration of the now-famous actor who died last week.

With heavy hearts, they expressed their deepest condolences to the family upon the passing of their son.

Vivian in particular was seen shedding heavy tears as she stepped out of her car to join her colleagues mourn their late icon.

The emotionally stricken screen actors encouraged Bernard Nyarko’s family to stay strong and also assured the family of their support when time is due for the funeral rites.

Actor Bishop Bernard Nyarko passed away on Saturday, May 2 at the Ridge Hospital in Accra.

According to his brother, Isaac Darko, his brother died a natural death hence the public should disregard rumours circulating that extra spiritual forces killed his brother.

Quoting Hebrews 12:2, which talks about Jesus being the author and finisher of the Christian’s faith, he said God who knows best, chose to call his brother at this time.

He stressed that a date is yet to be slated for the funeral rites of his late brother due to the social distancing ban imposed on Ghanaians by president Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
