Ghanaian contemporary Gospel singer, Songwriter and Pastor, Nana Yaw Boakye, known by his stage name, MOG, took his seat on this edition of Talkertainment.

The man who has been described by many, including Ghanaian ace media personality Abeiku Santana, as the number one worship leader in Ghana discussed with www.ghanaweb.com issues relating to his career, family, and the Christian race.

Among other discussions was how he battled depression issues until his final breakthrough in music.

“One of the things I dealt with is acceptance. I always felt I was not good enough in society. I felt like I wasn’t regarded. My dad can look at me and tell me that I’m hopeless. Those things really got to me psychologically,” he stated.

The Highly Spiritual Music signee also spoke about the confusion around his brand name and how he is mostly perceived as "MoG”; the famous sound engineer.

“We find ourselves in the same industry but the roles we play are different. I actually do not have a problem with that and people don’t see that we have a cool relationship. I even look forward to working with him,” he added.

Nonetheless, MOG has been nominated in four categories for the upcoming Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA’s) namely;

The Gospel Song of the Year

The Gospel Artiste of the Year

Male Vocalist of the Year

New Artiste of the Year
