Samini unhappy for not performing at Shatta's album launch

Dancehall and reggae artiste Emmanuel Andrews Samini popularly known as Samini has expressed his disappointment in his colleague artiste, Shatta Wale, for not allowing him to perform at his album launch.

Samini claimed he had sent one of Shatta Wale’s boys to tell him that he (Samini) and Stonebwoy were in their car waiting for Shatta Wale to call them to give a surprise performance at Shatta Wale’s album launch last Saturday.

He said they planned the surprise because it was something they do for themselves at their various concerts and that Shatta Wale had once surprised him at his Saminifest Concert at the Trade Fair Centre on December 3, 2016.

According to Samini, upon waiting for over an hour, they (Samini and Stonebwoy) were told Shata Wale had refused the gesture.

This compelled Samini into tweeting Shatta Wale, telling him their intentions and expressing his disappointment.

Meanwhile, Shatta Wale has in response to Samini’s tweet said he had no idea about their presence and even the 'surprise' planned for him, hence apologizing for the incident.
