Prison officer fires shots to separate fight between convicts at court

It took the firing of some warning shots by a Prison officer to stop a brawl between two convicted persons at the Tema High Court on Monday morning.

The two were engaged in a fight after the court convicted them.

Pleas for them to stop fighting moments after they had left the court room fell on deaf ears until the officer fired the warning shot.

Sources said one of the convicts allegedly gave incriminating evidence against the other.

Therefore when they left the court room they decided to sort their differences out with the fight.
