President Mahama to receive 100% "shameful" endorsement

.....FROM EASTERN NDC IN THEIR NOVEMBER 7 CONGRESS FOR NON PERFORMANCE AND INCOMPETENCE.

The Eastern Regional Executives of the New Patriotic Party has described the visit of President Mahama to the region as ' A visit to receive a "Shameful" 100% endorsement from his party for non performance and incompetence. But the people of Eastern Region will reject him come 2016. The president and his government have done nothing in de Eastern Region so we wonder what he will be telling his people as his achievements as far as developmental projects are concerned. President Mahama and his NDC government cannot even supply chalk and log books to schools in the region how much more provision of good roads, schools, hospitals, decent accommodation for workers, regular supply of electricity and water to the people, bridges, among others.

We wish to state that all the social intervention programmes instituted by President Kufuor and NPP government have collapsed or are being left to collapse in the region - Gapitation grants are not being paid to schools, NHIS is not working properly, NDC Regional and Constituency Executives are embezzling School Feeding monies hence collapsing the School Feeding Programme, Metro Mass Transit system are not working properly as it should with frequent break down of busses, affordable housing project for the region are still in the bush, non issuance of the National Identification Cards, etc. In fact, nothing is working in the Eastern Region and we can describe our region as an 'abandoned' region of Ghana under President Mahama. In all these, the road sector is the worst affected - Eastern Region is known to have de highest number of deplorable roads in the country and it is a shame that NDC in the Eastern Region could only mentioned Nsawam - Asamankese and Suhum- Asamankese as roads they have tarred in the Eastern Region. This is a blatant lie and they people who ply these roads got provoked when they heard of this.

Apart from these two stretch of roads, there are other deplorable roads in the Eastern Region that require mentioning;
? Kade - Asuom
? Oda - Swedru - Akyease
? Asamankese - Buadua - Akwatia
? Kwabeng - Akrofuom -Abomosu
? Oda - Ofoase
? Ofoase - Abrem
? Nsawam - Aburi
? Afram Plains Tiase - Maame Krobo
? Tiase - Donkorkrom
? Adawso - Asubone
? Begoro - Ahomem
? Asesewa - Dzamam
? Tinkong - Amanfrom, among others.

The President and his NDC government have turned deaf ears to all these challenges in the region. We equally blame the Eastern Regional Executives of NDC for not projecting and highlighting the developmental challenges of the region to the President but rather seeking their personal interest. This is very unfortunate and we are not surprised. President Mahama and his NDC government have neglected the people of Eastern Region in their 7years stay in power. Every statement from them has been nothing other than propaganda and deceit. The people of Eastern Region are discerning and wide awake and will not fall into NDC propaganda machinery.

We want to assure the people of the Eastern Region of NPP's commitment to their developmental needs and encourage them to be resolute in their quest to vote massively for Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo in 2016. We are solidly with the Chiefs and people of Eastern Region in these difficult economic and development times and we believe things will change under the Presidency of Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo in 2017 Isha Allah! !!!!!
