Bronx, NY --To attain the age of 65 is a indeed a blessing worth celebrating. On Nov.
8th, Family and friends gathered at Cocoa House, Bronx, NY to celebrate this
milestone. The Fordjour Family proudly celebrated the birthday and
retirement party of Mr. Peter Kojo Opoku Fordjour Sr. in style.
The Chairperson for the occasion was; Lawyer and Mrs Okyere Darko and
co-Chairpersons; Mr. & Mrs Joe Ofori. Among the guests of honor included;
Nana Kwasi Badu, Ampabame-Boshe and Abrepo Abusuapanin), Mr. & Mrs Peter
Osei, Mr. & Mrs Kojo Appiah and Mr. Kwabena Manu aka Pancho; Activist &
Editor-in-Chief of 3G magazine.
The MC was Nana Osei Kyeretwie and Music was provided by Dynamic Katabo
Soundz.
Supported Associations in attendance who made presentations were; The Brong
Ahafo Association led by its President; Mr. Patrick Gyan, Ampabame-Boshen
and Abrepo Abusua Kuo Association, Association of the Ghanaian Community at
Terence Cardinal Cooke Health Care Center, United Ghanaian Community
Atlsabella Geriatic Center and the Ghana United Methodist Church, Bronx,
NY.
Rev. Dr. Acquaah-Harrison blessed the occasion. Mr. Fordjour is a community
leader who is the President of the United Ghanaian Community Atlsabella
Geriatic Center, The Boro President of The Brong Ahafo Association,
Treasurer of Ampabame-Boshen and Abrepo Abusua Kuo Association and Secretary
of Terence Cardinal Cooke Health Care Center.
Mrs. Serwah Opoku Fordjour joined the children; Mavis Opoku Fordjour, Selina
Opoku Fordjour and Felcity Opoku Fordjour to pay tribute to their father
Mr. Opoku Fordjour and his family deeply appreciate the support from ALL who
came in their numbers to support them in diverse ways.
