The Ghana Football Association President, Kurt E, S Okraku has yet again denied reports of former President Kwesi Nyantakyi's involvement in his election as the association's leader.

Kwesi Nyantakyi has been banned for life by FIFA to stay away from all football-related activities after he was implicated in the Anas exposé which even forced him to sell his club Wa All-Stars.

There were widespread reports in the media during the GFA Elections held on October 25 that Mr Nyantakyi was at the elections ground to canvas for votes for Kurt to ensure that George Afriyie who was his vice will not win the elections because he sees George as a traitor.

Kurt in an interview on Joy FM denied knowing of Nyantakyi's involvement in his campaign and added that the former GFA boss is too clever to get involved in the process.

"Let me put this across, I have no knowledge of Mr. Nyantakyi getting involved in my campaign. He is too clever to be involved because he knows that he can’t get himself involved in the process"

"We must give credits to the game-changing campaign team led by Jones Abu Alhassan and I think it is time that we let go of the happenings before and during the elections because the elections are over and therefore, we should focus on the future, "said Kurt Okraku.
