North Tongu MP, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa donates laptops to nine schools

The Member of Parliament for North Tongu, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, has presented laptop computers to nine top-performing basic schools within his constituency.

According to him, the schools over the last three years secured an average of 80% to 98% in the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) and the donation is to motivate other schools to achieve higher.

In addition to the laptops, Mr Okudzeto Ablakwa also donated graph boards to all 50 Junior High Schools within his constituency to help boost teaching and learning.

He said: "A very fruitful and exciting day in my beloved constituency. Amazing interactions in Mepe with Directors, Teachers and JHS Pupils.”

As the candidates prepare for this years’ BECE, Mr Okudzeto Ablakwa announced, “my package for this year includes paying for the final super mock for all 1,920 BECE Candidates, free transportation and free Mathematical Sets.”

Mr Okudzeto Ablakwa added that he is proud of his constituents’ collective achievements within the Education sector.
