No government pays mind to needs of Upper West inhabitants – Samini

Dancehall act Emmanuel Andrews Samini, popularly known as Samini, has taken a swipe at the incumbent government for neglecting the needs of those living in the Northern regions of Ghana.

According to him, although people living in the Upper West Region voted for change, no development has taken effect in their lives.

He continued that the standard of living of people living in such regions are nothing to write home about.

In a tweet, the “Obaa” hitmaker said: “For all these years I’ve known myself as a northerner from the Upper West region; my people have seen us change governments but not change in livelihoods. We still don’t have basic needs like water and electricity. We still drink drying waters and see through the dark. When ????” Samini queried.
