No bra day: ‘Free porn’ or breast cancer awareness – Social media reactions

The month of October always comes with numerous activities targeted towards promoting breast cancer awareness and the ‘No bra day’ is one of such.

The 13th day of the month is set aside annually as a day where women go without the brassiere and the hashtag is shared across many platforms to promote the idea and encourage women to check on their breasts.

It is common to see several persons, including famous personalities; local and foreign, on the day, with pictures and videos of themselves participating in the celebration.

Some of these posts focus on the breast cancer awareness creation message, some others however use the opportunity to promote their own sensual messages.

The question then emerges, whether the original intent of the ‘No bra day’ is lost as the years go by.
