No More than President Mahama Merits “Outright Dismissal” from Office

I don’t know who this James Agalga character is, other than his media description as Ghana’s Deputy Interior Minister. But what is indisputably annoying about the man is his rather insufferably presumptuous belief that he can decide for the executive operatives of the country’s main opposition party, how the New Patriotic Party (NPP) should deal with its outspoken members whom Mr. Agalga deems to be grating the nerves or to have unacceptably impugned the chastity and integrity of public officials known to be knavishly serving the political interests of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) – (See “Kennedy Agyapong Merits ‘Outright Suspension’ – Agalga” Citifmonline.com /Ghanaweb.com 7/2/16).

It would be interesting to hear the Deputy Interior Minister tell the rest of the nation what disciplinary measures were exacted against Mr. Koku Anyidoho when the now-Deputy General-Secretary of the National Democratic Congress described former President John Agyekum-Kufuor as a man who was so facially unprepossessing that the mere sight of Mr. Kufuor made Mr. Anyidoho want to vomit. The same Koku Anyidoho recently told the members of the Wood Supreme Court to literally go to hell, because the Apex Court members had dared to call Electoral Commissioner Charlotte Kesson-Smith Osei to order. Back when he verbally assaulted President Kufuor, Mr. Anyidoho was President John Evans Atta-Mills’ Communications Director at the Flagstaff House. I don’t remember the assault’s being either promptly demoted or dismissed from the cabinet, other than jovially given a slap on the wrist.

It is quite obvious that the NDC leaders believe they have a premium or especial preserve or an inalienable right to insult their most formidable political opponents and actually receive national honors for the same, as NPP-MP Ursula Owusu-Akuful once had occasion to publicly wonder. I also find it insufferably reprehensible that Mr. Agalga and his fellow NDC parliamentarians would flatly and rudely refuse to call up President Mahama’s $100,000 Ford Expedition payola scam petition for debate on the august floor of the House, and yet would have Mr. Kennedy Ohene Agyapong summarily expelled from his party and the House, because the Assin-Central MP has supposedly not lived up to the dubious moral standards and expectations of the reprobate and thoroughgoing corrupt leaders of the National Democratic Congress.

Has Mr. Agalga ever heard the name of Mr. Kobby Acheampong? Or Kofi Adams? Or Mr. Johnson Asiedu-Nketia, the party General-Secretary who roguishly pushed through the parliamentary candidacy of Dr. Zenator Agyeman-Rawlings in the Klottey-Korle Constituency, knowing fully well that the eldest daughter of Chairman Jerry John Rawlings was not a registered dues-paying member of the National Democratic Congress? With executive rascals like Mr. Agalga and the rest of the Woyome Heist hoodlum pack running the affairs of our beloved country, is there any surprise that the economy of the nation has literally gone to the dogs?

I have already responded to the vacuous pontifical grandstanding of NDC female political scam-artists like Mrs. Betty “Woyome” Mould-Iddrisu (This congenital scam-artist actually launched a lawsuit against yours truly once when she was Ghana’s Attorney-General and Justice Minister!), Ms. Hanna Tetteh, the notorious China bribe-soliciting Foreign Minister and Nana Oye Lithur, the faithful conjugal partner of Mr. Tony Lithur, one of the foremost architects of the Judgment-Debt scam-artistry, and therefore find it absolutely unnecessary to rehash the same here. Maybe this is a geo-ethnic phenomenon, otherwise I see absolutely no reason why Mr. Agalga thinks that “circumstantial accomplices” of blood-dripping assassins like Mr. Gregory Afoko ought to be patted on the back. Then again, what can one expect from the key operatives of a party whose greatest claim to revolutionary righteousness is the ethnic cleansing of members of the highest court of the land?
