NPP’s position on ballot signifies God’s divine favour for Akufo-Addo - Adomako Baafi

The Deputy Communications Director of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) Adomako Baafi has stated that the presidential nominee Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s fifth position on the ballot paper symbolises divine favour from God.

He explained that God has chosen Nana Addo to change the fortunes of Ghana hence his position on the ballot.

On Wednesday the Electoral Commission (EC) balloted positions for presidential candidates for the December 7 General Elections.

Speaking on Abusua FM’s Abusua Nkommo hosted by Kwame Adinkrah, the communicator said NPP’s 5th position which symbolises ‘faith’ is better than NDC’s third position which they interpret as ‘win’.

‘When you study the Bible from the numerology, God is not a wicked God, he has been listening to the harsh economic conditions Ghanaians are experiencing. The number five is for divine favour and grace. In 2012 we said the battle is the Lord’s, David was the first person to say this in the Bible when he was going to the battlefield with Goliath but he didn’t hold guns or knife, but five stones representing faith and faith is five-lettered, Jesus fed 5000 people with five loaves and five fishes, the Bible is also five worded letter, same with the Qu’ran.

Physically, Ghana has been ruled by four people in the fourth Republic, so the fifth person will be Nana Addo. Biblically, we have John 1 and 2, 3 we don’t have John 4 or 5, its a taboo, so spiritually Mahama is already out of the race. What is the hullabaloo about their third position, faith is better than NDC’s third position which they interpret as ‘win’, faith is stronger than winning, faith is superior to win if you don’t have faith you will mess up the country if power is given to you, they are being pessimistic just to win votes,’ he said.

Mr Baafi said it will be disastrous for Ghanaians to retain the Mahama-led NDC government which is characterised with corruption and insults.

‘Change is coming, Ghanaians will not vote for a corrupt government, Ghanaians deserve better, God will not retain corrupt NDC,’ he said.
