My take on the upper east national service coordinator

Mr. National service coordinator in Upper East Region. I trust that you and your entire household are well and kicking. I pray for grace and blessings for you in each and every single step that you take.
I write today’s piece with deep sadness. I am not fond of taking people to the cleanness. Unfortunately, that is what I plan doing today.
Mr. Coordinator, there has been a grave injustice done to a greater segment of nurses in upper east region, particularly diploma 12, 13, 14 and 15 batch. I am a staunch member of one of the above mentioned batches but I a Ghanaian citizen first. This article should therefore be treated as one coming from a concerned nurse and above all, a concerned citizen and not a disgruntled noble professional.
Having visited your office many times without number in the name of demanding for my national service certificate and my identity card, I am much aware and over engulfed in the kind of excuses you put at my feet. May be, you have forgotten we paid an amount of GH?40.00 each. Information reaching my “ofaltory system” indicates that, about 500 nurses have fallen prey. If indeed the number of nurses involve is anything to go by, then we are talking about a whooping amount GH?20,000.00.
Let me state categorically once again that, I am fully aware of the dangers to which this piece of writing may expose me in case I am misunderstood or deliberately miss reported or mischievously quoted out of context.
I thought the national service scandal that was uncovered recently at the national level was an eye – opener, little did I know that it was nothing to write home about.
Professor Stephen Addai, the former rector of GIMPA was in the news for saying that “8 out of 10 MPs are glorified thieves”. I will borrow his adjectives and put mine this way “8 out of 10 public office holders are glorified robbers” which you are not exempted.
Mr. National service coordinator in upper east region, act very fast before the “death” of December or else you will be taken aback by our next step of action. I however, refuse to give you a gist of what we have enclosed in our “cranial cavity”. A word to the wise is …….
God bless all my readers, God bless mother Ghana.
