My manhood won’t erect if I were you – Adongo jabs Bawumia

The ‘manpower’ of the Vice President, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has been questioned after giving a lecture about the state of the economy at a maiden Town Hall meeting held in Accra.

National Democratic Congress (NDC) Member of Parliament for Bolga Central, Mr Isaac Adongo said if he were the Vice President, it would have been difficult to get an erection after the “lies” he churned out.

“I’m sure if I were Bawumia, I’m not sure I will get an erection if I go home but this man is singing praises in this disgrace,” he mocked.

Mr Adongo made the comment at the NDC’s Public Lecture on the Ghanaian Economy in response to the government’s Town Hall meeting.

Dr Bawumia, among other things, espoused the feat chalked by the government in just two years in office.

The Vice President also announced new measures including reducing port duties to maximise government revenue.

Dr Bawumia noted that in spite of the difficulties faced with the cedi depreciation, the ruling New Patriotic Party is certain that it is better managers of the economy than the NDC.

But, in a riposte, Mr Adongo said he was not surprised at the conduct of Dr Bawumia because he is the chief propagandist.

He explained that, the Vice President, who is also the head of the Economic Management Team, is noted for throwing dust into the eyes of Ghanaians.

“These are groups of people instead of finding alternative ways to mobilise revenue, all they believe in is borrowing,” he noted.

The only way to salvage the economy, Mr Adongo said is for the NDC to be voted back to power.

“We will not come back to power because the NPP has failed; we will come back to power because we have alternative programmes,” he opined.
