The North American Mission of The Methodist Church Ghana held its Retreat/Camp Meeting 2009 recently in Maryland under the theme ? TIME TO WORSHIP GOD IN TRUTH AND IN SPIRIT?. Hosted by the Washington Mission Circuit the Meeting saw Members come in Montreal, Canada to Atlanta, Georgia and indeed from all over the eastern part of America. Delegates from Hamburg, Germany also attended.

Joining heart and mind members participated in prayer, praise and preaching led by Clergy and Lay. As part of the Retreat the Women?s Fellowship, Men Fellowship and Association of Methodist Church Choirs held a Mini-Retreat, a Bi-annual Conference and a Workshop/Meeting respectively. A team led by Evangelist Edwin Oppong Boateng also held a special Revival Night.

A Thanksgiving Service climaxed the Retreat/Camp Meeting. The Guest Preacher was Rt. Rev. Joseph Kow Ghunney, Bishop of Winneba Diocese. He preached on the theme.
