Mama Africa we love you

You're the backbone of our spiritual, family, economic, political and sociocultural cohesion.

Your inspirations and admonitions remain the golden fabric of our dignity and identity.

Weep no more Mama Africa. Your daughters and sons are shaping global history unprecedentedly.
If you must cry, cry out loud for the liberation and celebration of your children. For it is written, " a city placed on top of a mountain shall not be hidden ".

Let your passionate supplications before God never come to an end. We appreciate those prayers especially at dawn - they remain the light in times of darkness.

Your footprints???? and handiworks are visible across the globe.

Your role in sustaining nature cannot be overemphasized lest we forget the works of Wangari Maathai, the first African woman Environmentalist to win Nobel Peace Prize and the trees in our community centres.

Great nations know your worth when you're taken from your soil through the trenches and shadows of the deep to rebirth their land and to give birth to Harriet Tubman, Maya Angelou, Daisy Bates, Rosa Parks, Sister Rosetta Tharpe, Barbara Conrad, Martin Luther King, Malcom X, Muhammad Ali, Rev Jessy Jackson, Louis Farrakhan and many others. We're glad Torgbi Tsali, Yaa Asantewaa and rest were left behind to preserve and sustain the spirit of resilience and fortitude.

You are a custodian of the Abrahamic covenant and represent a divine assignment in our lives.

You never let us down. You planted cedar trees on your soil. We can see some at their final stages of life and others as vibrant as life itself. You're gracious to give us Kwame Nkrumah, Nelson Mandela, JJ Rawlings, Thomas Sankara, Patrice Lumumba, Winnie Mandela, Esther Ocloo Nkulenu, Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings and many noble sons and daughters as icons of hope to your generations. Your progenitor Obama Snr had an encounter with divinity to fulfill the prophecies concerning your womb hence Barack Obama.

We preserve you in times of war for a reason - you represent life.
You're that pillar left at the four corners of Rwanda when that beautiful land nearly became desolate. Though you're bruised, we thank God one of your able sons, Paul Kagame brought hope when your daughters and grandchildren cried for help. I call on all your children and grandchildren at this moment to join me tell the world and the people of your land to stop killing you and your dreams for reasons I can't understand.

Your participation and contribution in building political, democratic, religious and business institutions is a reflection of the prizes we collectively win on the planet. The universal forces are on your side.

Mama the journey has just begun.

May the Lord bless and grant you the grace to put on the full armor of God towards the latter race and glory.

The deep lines of Philosopher Akpalu teach your nature, spirituality, love, longevity, and even life in eternity.

I wish you all a happy mother's day.

Yours Senanu Donald Cog Kofi Agumenu
