Mahama will only replace partisan police officers with SADA police officers, trust me

For the information and instructive enlightenment of Mr. Samuel George Nartey, the Mahama lackey and sometime parasitic beneficiary at the Mahama Presidency, who currently serves as the National Democratic Congress’ Member of Parliament for Ningo-Prampram, in the Greater-Accra Region, the track-record of former President John Dramani Mahama is easily the most pathologically partisan and clinically tribalistic in Ghana’s postcolonial history.

For just one ready and prominent example: when New Patriotic Party (NPP) Member of Parliament for Akyem-Abuakwa-North and grandson of the putative Doyen of Gold Coast and Modern Ghanaian Politics was brutally and fatally stabbed to death in the sanctum of Mr. Joseph Boakye Danquah-Adu’s own bedroom, in the East Legon-Shiashie district of the Accra Metropolitan Area, then President Mahama, according to a reliable source, promptly instructed the extant Inspector-General of the Ghana Police Service (IGP), Mr. John Kudalor, when it became evident that the prime suspect and brain behind Mr. Danquah’s assassination was a member of his own Presidential Staff, to remove and transfer the Chief Investigator, to wit, Commissioner of Police (COP) and forensic scientist Dr. George Akuffo-Dampare, from the case.

This is the sort of kangaroo professional policing that Mr. Nartey would have Ghanaians believe the election of Candidate John Dramani Mahama would positively bring to the general quality of policing in the country. Anyway, the scandalous removal of Dr. Akuffo-Dampare was effected shortly after the barely adult criminal suspects in the brutal assassination of Mr. Danquah-Adu started fessing up to police investigators and exposing the master-brains behind the grisly stabbing of the renowned businessman and Chartered Accountant. Dr. Akuffo-Dampare would also be promptly demoted from his post as Greater-Accra Regional Commander of the Ghana Police Service to Rector of the Winneba Police Officers’ Training Academy. This is the sort of first-rate nonpartisan professionalism that Sam George would have Ghanaians believe would make for better policing under a highly unlikely second Mahama Presidency. What is more, Candidate John Dramani Mahama has already told the entire nation that he resolutely stands for “Boot-for-Boot” or retaliatory violence as his national security policy agenda, so it is very clear that this is not the kind of problem-solving leader that Ghanaians are looking to have as their President come January 7, 2021.

You see, the byelection incidents of raw intimidation and naked violence engineered by National Democratic Congress’ operatives like Samuel George Nartey himself, at Ayawaso-West Wuogon, and the Mahama/Asiedu-Nketia hoodlum pack at Akyem-Kwabeng, Akyem-Akwatia, Talensi and Wassa-Amenfi, among a platoon of others, speak volumes to the fact that Little Dramani has absolutely no skills or talent for the Presidency. Nearly every social intervention program implemented by the John Agyekum-Kufuor-led government of the New Patriotic Part was royally bungled or botched by the Mills-Mahama and Mahama/Amissah-Arthur tandem regimes, including the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS), for whose bankruptcy and embezzlement the then President Mahama abortively scapegoated Mr. Sylvester Mensah, the extant Director-General of the National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA). In short, Comrade Mahama is a pathological liar whose legion promises are not worth the very breath with which they are spoken; neither are such empty promises worth the value or price of the paper on which they are written. It is as simple as that.

Mr. Dumsor simply cannot become President again and will never become Commander-in-Chief of the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) again. So Sam George had better and promptly disabuse his crab-cluttered mind of this nonsensical idea that, somehow, the man who once shamelessly constituted the most tribalistic, corrupt and ethnocentric regional development board in Ghana’s history has any progressive, creative or fresh ideas for moving our country forward to higher ground. To be frank with the Dear Reader, I can only see a virulently nepotistic and vindictive President Mahama zealously embarked on a massive anti-Akan and anti-non-northern-born or anti-Kabonga persecution of personnel of the Ghana Police Service, contrary to what Sam George Nartey and the rest of the thuggish operatives of the National Democratic Congress would have the rest of the nation believe (See “Mahama Will Remove Partisan Officers from Police Service – Sam George” News Desk – Modernghana.com 2/1/20).
