Former District Chief Executive for the Sekyere Afram Plains Hon. Fuseini Donkor has indicated that even before John Dramani Mahama takes over power after the 2025 elections, he has already finished all appointments.

There have been concerns raised about the slow pace at which President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has been making his appointments in the second term.

Several complaints have been raised about the President’s failure to name appointees for various august positions in his government; something which analysts believe have affected productivity at various state institutions.

Reacting to this, the former DCE for Sekyere Afram Plains said Ghanaians are fed up with people who are undecided and will not be experimenting like they chose to do with Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

He indicated that the people of Ghana have gotten to know that they made a wrong choice in Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and will never again fall for any form of lies in subsequent elections in the country.

“The people of Ghana are done with experimenting on people who have no experience with the Presidency. John Dramani Mahama has the experience and as I’m speaking to you, he has a list of persons who will occupy all positions should he be voted into power.

"The speed that John Dramani Mahama will bring to governance in this country will be baffling. I don’t think it will take him one whole year to name his appointees when there is work to be done.

"So for me, the calls on changing John Mahama is neither here nor there. John Mahama will use only 4 months for his appointments and get to action to transform Ghana,” he said in an interview on Accra-based OKAY FM.
