Mr. Henry Ford Kamel who was also the MP for Buem constituency, died suddenly in his hometown after he collapsed on Christmas day.

According Spokesperson for the group, Mathias Johnson-Alagbo, Kofi Adams is fit for the position if elected by the electorate of Buem constituency considering his political experience and capabilities as a former deputy General Secretary of the ruling party.

He said the constituency needed an equally hard working and dedicated person like the late MP-elect, Henry Ford Kamel.

However speaking to Thursday, Mr. Kofi Adams appealed to the group to join the entire country to mourn the late Ford Kamel at least for a week, before they do their lobbying.

“The sensibilities of the family and relatives of our Minister and MP must be respected in this difficult moment. He was a great servant of the area having served as an Assembly Member, MP and Minister for the region,” Mr. Adams advised.
