Kwesi Botchwey report must serve as a lesson to NPP

Dr. Kwesi Botchwey led a committee to diagnose the cause of the NDC's loss in the 2016 elections Dr. Kwesi Botchwey led a committee to diagnose the cause of the NDC's loss in the 2016 elections

_"How much better is it to get wisdom than gold and to get understanding rather to be chosen than silver" - Proverbs 16:16_

In the media (social, electronic and printed), the NPP communicators and bigwigs have capitalized, arguing vehemently and making mockery at the NDC out of the Kwesi Botchwey report.

The content of the report seems to be the heaven spot for the New
Patriotic Party. However, the report must rather serve as a lesson to the NPP and its functionaries to correct some of the mistakes which have been highlighted under the reign of the party.

I keep asking as to whether everything is upright in the party – from the Flagstaff House to a polling station at Hamile.
Are the party financiers who struggled out of the economic quagmire of the Mahama led NDC government to finance the party happy after 10 months in government?

Is the NPP functioning as an active party it was in 2016?
What is the relationship between the party and the government?

Are there job opportunities to the youth who sacrificed for the party or we are giving it to our families and friends who were in their comfort zones at the heat of the campaign?

Kwesi Botchwey report indicated that Mahama's appointees lost respect for the media and the party foot soldiers. The NPP and its government have comported itself very well with the media. But, have we asked about the respect we (especially appointees) have for the grassroots?

Last year, we conducted a survey in the Eastern region where it was revealed that out of the 66 NDC youth organizers and their deputies,
58 were unemployed. Due to this, when their so-called *Agenda 5050* was launched, party communicators and foot soldiers were shouting
"Agenda 5050" but they never moved to the grassroots.

Is the NPP government satisfying its core members with the few job opportunities?

After the election, have the party big men maintained the good relationship they had with the grassroots before the elections?

"The heart of the prudent get knowledge and the ear of the wise seek knowledge" - Proverbs 18:15

Let's not repeat the mistakes that sent the NDC to Onaaaaaapo opposition.
*Sustainability of power is the mission*
*Continuity is the vision*

Long live NPP
