Japan Embassy salutes Ghana’s World Cup achievement

The Japanese Embassy in Ghana has saluted Ghana’s World Cup achievement insisting they want a collaboration with the Ghana FA to reach the same height with Ghana.

The Black Stars of Ghana after making a maiden appearance in 2006 have made it to the 2010 and 2014 World Cups in South Africa and Brazil respectively.

And the Secreatry in charge of Sports and Culture at the Japanese Emabssy, Masa Iida says they need to collaborate with Ghana to also achieve a similar feet.

Speaking exclusively to GHANAsoccernet.com, Masa Iida said “I understand that Ghana is very regular at the world cup and not only is Ghana looking forward to benefit from Japan in terms of sports development, we are also looking at how Ghana can collaborate with us to also get to the quarter finals of the World Cup.”

“When it comes to the World Cup, Ghana is a big achiever than Japan so we hope to liaise up with the Ghana FA to see how they can help us get to that level.”

Masa Iida added that his outfit will also be teaming up with the Ghana FA to setto develop the game locally.
