International Airlines Should Reduce Air Fares.

A special appeal has been issued to the various airlines such as Lufthansa and KLM to consider coming out with reduction sales that will cover the lean season from January 15 for holiday makers in North America who wants to travel to Ghana to be able to book their reservations.

Because these airlines are not coming out with reduction sales this month, some travelers are considering further preferring their traveling plans to next year or risk booking reservations on other flights they may not want to.

The relationship between international airlines and travelers has traditionally been a complicated one, to say the least.

As travelers from Africa but residing in North America have to purchase air tickets to be able to visit home, they have found themselves in the uncomfortable, and some times dangerous and frustrated position of their journey back and forth.

Main international airlines position held that they have been providing the better air fares and services and continues to appeal to travelers to book their reservations and in order to enjoy their services.

Travelers, for their part have tended largely to ignore this claim from some of the international airlines as they still complain of long transit waiting hours, lost baggage’s and most often higher fares in lean season.

And has appealed to most of these airlines especially Lufthansa and KLM to reduce their air fares drastically this month or lean season and better improve their connecting flights to eliminate frustrations passengers go through at transit points.

The dream of many travelers especially Ghanaians living in Europe and North America over the Christmas got shattered by the scare of the Ebola virus which forced many to preferred their traveling plans to this January.

Currently the Ebola fear has been eliminated by a vaccination which is controlling the spread of the diseases that has assured all who might travel to Ghana and non affected areas that they will be safe in and out.

The second aspect which also prompted some travels to make a swift move to embark on a trip to West Africa this month was the drastic reduction of fuel prices at the world market before December 31, 2014.

However, most of the international airlines such as Lufthansa and KLM that Ghanaians patronize their services when it comes to booking a reservation to Ghana have remain insensitive to the plights of travels by not holding discount sales of air fares.
This is in fact causing a lot of frustration for many hundreds of travelers who would like to visit various destinations in Africa especially Ghana who could not make during the Christmas season.

The Christmas and New Year seasons are over, the busy season is over but travelers and holiday makers who could not make it during the season are still pocketing their money but are will to purchase air tickets for short holidays if the airlines reduce are fares any moment from now.

The month of December every year is classified as high season whiles Lean Season starts from some where January 13 to April.

Usually Ghanaians and for that matter travelers who want to spend a holiday in Ghana and other West African countries, book their reservations on Lufthansa Airlines, KLM and have their transit flight either from Amsterdam or Frankfurt to Kotoka International Airport in Accra.

Because these airlines are not coming out with reduction sales this month, others are considering further preferring their traveling plans to next year or risk booking reservations on other flights they may not want to.
