‘I’m ready to build Ghana football beyond corruption’ - Nana Yaw Amponsah declares

Ghana FA Presidential aspirant Nana Yaw Amponsah has assured that he will ‘build a Ghana football beyond corruption’ is he’s voted into office as the next president of the association.

Nana Yaw, who is the youngest aspirant among a litany of aspirants filed his nomination on Friday afternoon at the Secretariat of the Ghana FA.

Moments after filing, Nana Yaw Amponsah met the media and assured Ghanaians of what he intends to do for football if voted into office.

"I'm ready to move Ghana football beyond corruption, aid, nepotism, cronyism and to create opportunities for all," Nana Yaw Amponsah told the press.

He added, "My vision is based on three cardinal points. First and foremost to restore the integrity of the sport and secondly, make sure results is the order of the day, to also develop grassroot football which serves as the bedrock of Ghana football."

The Phar Rangers CEO went ahead to say, "The third one is to commercialize the sport especially the local league when these are functioned the superstructure of Black Stars will function."

"You don't have to be my friend to benefit from the sponsorship that I'm going to bring."
