I’ll get you arrested if you don’t pay the ‘poor’ man – A Plus threatens Asabee

Outspoken government critic, Kwame Asare Obeng popularly known as A Plus is demanding justice for a young man whose property was wrongfully appropriated by the Executive Director of the State Enterprise Commission, Steven Asamoah Boateng (Asabee).

According to the controversial musician, Asabee has refused to pay the young man several years after he covetously seized the latter’s piece of land and pulled down a self-contained structure on the land.

A Plus bemoaned in a Facebook statement how the NPP bigwig like many other political figures, used his status to intimidate the “poor” man in 2014, seized his land and demolished a house he was building.

He disclosed that several attempts to get justice for the victim have proved futile due to the influence Asaabe has on the Police and court at the time.

“I’ve reported this man to every big man in the NPP but they don’t care because the owner is not a big man’s son. When I start talking they will tell me to use the right channel. This case went to court but the criminal judge who was one of those caught in Anas’ video threw the case out of court. No wonder she was sacked,” he revealed.

He said he has documents from the Lands Commission and the titled landowners suggesting the victim is the rightful owner of the property and not the Asabee.

“My people at lands commission have sent me every document on the land. The owners said they haven’t sold the land to you,” he alleged.

A Plus threatened the politician to do the needful and settle the right owner of the land or risk getting arrested for stealing and unlawfully demolishing a property of another citizen.

“The police commander said I should inform you that his mother is a big NPP woman who works at the party headquarters currently but he does not support fooling. He said If you go there he will arrest you. God bless you policeman!!! Now pay the young man or forget about building a house there. You are not the only one who can break the law in Ghana!” he warned.

The Executive Chairman of State Enterprise Commission, Steven Asamoah Boateng was once a member of parliament. He was chosen by his people to make laws for this country. He knows the law very well and must be the last to take matters into his own hands. But here in Ghana the rich and powerful make laws for the poor. They smoke wee but arrest and jail poor wee smokers. Yes, many of your so called big men and politicians smoke wee. The wee you can smoke errh, even Bob Marley and Rita Marley didn’t high that much when they were recording Trench Town walk.

Politicians steal government money and go free but arrest and jail people who steal goat, plantain, and cassava.

How can a lawmaker take the law in his own hands and demolish someone’s property like this? I’ve reported this man to every big man in the NPP but they don’t care because the owner is not a big man’s son. When I start talking they will tell me to use the right channel.

This case went to court but the criminal judge who was one of those caught in Anas’ video threw the case out of court. No wonder she was sacked.

I’ve spoken to so many people to help this young man. I’ve recorded every conversation. From the chief and his elder to the police commander of the area. This is 2019. Phones have auto record. If you are speaking with someone on the phone and you don’t think it’s being recorded then you are out of touch.

Asabee, pay the man and leave the land. I did you a huge favour by not mentioning your name the first time I spoke about this issue expecting you to do the right thing. But you are very arrogant. During Kuffour’s time in power you were tagged one of the most arrogant appointees. You are part of the reasons why Akuffo Addo lost in 2008. You walk around with an exaggerated ego.

Instead of calling to sort the matter out you sent my very good friend Davucci to come and tell me that the matter happened in 2014. So? Is that payment for your nonsense? Are you lands commission? Are you the court? Even police and the whole Ghana army must get a court order to demolish a property. You don’t respect yourself.

My people at lands commission have sent me every document on the land. The owners said they haven’t sold the land to you. The police commander said I should inform you that his mother is a big NPP woman who works at the party headquarters currently but he does not support fooling. He said If you go there he will arrest you. God bless you policeman!!! Now pay the young man or forget about building a house there. You are not the only one who can break the law in Ghana!!!

Panyintoto!!! If he’s on Facebook someone should tag him!!!
